สาวน้อยหน้าใส Amélie Poulain กับภารกิจช่วยเพื่อนมนุษย์พร้อมรอยยิ้มแอบเจ้าเล่ห์เล็กน้อย คงได้เข้าไปอยู่ในใจใครหลายคน กับเนื้อหาแสนน่ารัก ตัวแสดงมีเสน่ห์และฉากหลากสีสันกับหนังสัญชาติฝรั่งเศสเรื่อง Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain หรือ Amelie สำหรับฉันนั้น นอกจากตัวภาพยนตร์ที่เข้าไปติดอันดับหนังในดวงใจไปแล้ว ก็ยังมีตัว Soundtrack ที่ทำให้ฉันหลงใหลได้ปลื้มฟังอยู่ร่ำไปไม่มีเบื่อ ซึ่งเป็นแผ่นเพลงประกอบที่เน้นเพลงบรรเลงอัลบั้มแรกๆที่ทำให้ฉันได้ค้นพบเสน่ห์ของการฟังเพลงบรรเลง

ผู้ประพันธ์เพลงประกอบนั้นคือ Yann Tiersen ซึ่งเป็นนักดนตรีแนวนิวเอจและนักแต่งเพลงที่เน้นการใช้เครื่องดนตรีประเภท เปียโน แอคคอร์เดี้ยน เมโลดิกา และไวโอลิน Jean-Pierre Jeunet ผู้กำกับภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Amelie มีโอกาสได้ฟังเพลงของ Tiersen ขณะที่เขานั่งรถแท็กซี่ เขาถูกใจและได้สอบถามคนขับแท็กซี่ถึงชื่อคนแต่งเพลง หลังจากนั้นตัว Jeunet ก็ซื้อผลงานของ Tiersen จนครบ Jeunet ติดต่อ Tiersen เพื่อให้มาแต่งเพลงประกอบให้กับ Amelie โดยที่เพลงที่ปรากฏในหนังนั้นมีเพลงจากสามอัลบั้มแรกของเขา และมีบางเพลงอยู่ในอัลบั้มล่าสุด ณ ขณะนั้นซึ่งเป็นลำดับที่สี่ของเขา

อัลบั้มซาวนด์แทร็กนั้น ประกอบไปด้วย 20 เพลง โดยที่สี่เพลงแรกอยู่ใน playlist ด้านล่าง และอีกเพลงหนึ่งคือ Les Jours Tristes ซึ่ง Tiersen ร่วมกับ Neil Hannon จาก the Divine Comedy มาแต่งเนื้อเพลงและขับร้องให้ โดยที่เพลงนี้จะปรากฏในอัลบั้ม L’Absente

เวลาที่ฉันได้ฟังเพลงประกอบของ Amelie นั้น ฉันสัมผัสได้ถึงความรื่นเริง เบิกบานใจ ฉันมักใช้อัลบั้มนี้เพื่อการผ่อนคลายในบางครั้งที่ฉันรู้สึกเหนื่อย และเพลง Les Jours Tristes ที่มีเนื้อเพลงเป็นภาษาอังกฤษนั้น ก็เป็นเหมือนเพลงปลุกกำลังใจให้ฉัน
